Caption - Austrian Railways (OBB) Abt rack equipped 0-6-2T 97-205 at Prabichl in September 1976. The Vordenberg rack line was an impressive piece of engineering with tunnels, viaducts and a ruling gradient of 1 in 14. Empty trains were hauled uphill with a loco at each end of the train. Downhill iron ore trains were operated in the same way. The locos dated from the 1890s and were built by Wiener Lokomotivfabrik-Floridsdorf.
