CFB 10C class Garratt 338 at Lepi
Caption - Benguela Railway (CFB), in Angola, Cape gauge 10C class 4-8-2+2-8-4 Garratt 338 is seen at Lepi in October 1973. 338 was built by Beyer Peacock in 1952 and was one of a batch of 15 locos. Angola was a Portuguese colony at this time and locos were beautifully maintained. 338 was a wood burner using timber from the Eucalyptus plantations.
